TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

By joining Conundrum Theatre’s classes you agree to the following:

 

  • FEES

    • Fees should be paid in full by the due date, prior to the start of the term (unless your child is joining mid-term)

    • A refund of 50% is payable if your child withdraws within 5 weeks of term

    • No refund will be payable if your child withdraws after 5 weeks of term

 

  • CASTING

    • Casting decisions will be made by the Director and Creative Team

    • All casting decisions are final

    • Not everyone will get the role they want, but everyone will get a role

    • Casting may be changed during the process if it is deemed necessary by the creative team

 

  • MISSED CLASSES AND REHEARSALS

    • Your child is expected to attend all classes and rehearsals

    • Make up classes are not offered for missed classes, unless they are canceled by the company

    • Refunds on missed classes are not offered, unless they are canceled by the company

    • Commitment to rehearsals is paramount. If your child misses rehearsals without reasonable notice, they may have their role changed or lines taken away

    • Reasonable notice is 24 hours for illness or at least one week for school or family commitments

 

  • INJURIES

    • If your child is injured during a class or rehearsal first aid will be rendered.

    • All Conundrum Staff are First Aid Accredited.

    • If your child requires further medical attention during class time, the parent will be informed and the child will be taken to Parkway East Hospital

    • If your child requires further medical attention after class or rehearsal, charges will not be borne by Conundrum Theatre.

 

  • WELLBEING AND SAFETY

    • The safety and wellbeing of your child is of utmost importance to Conundrum Theatre. We will ensure their mental and physical safety and wellbeing while they are in our care.

    • Harassment, bullying, abuse, or intimidation towards any member of staff will not be tolerated. It goes against the values of our company and may result in your child being removed from their class. 

    • Harassment may include, but is not limited to, persistent messaging, phoning, making unreasonable demands, requesting casting changes, or calling repeatedly during classes or after hours.
